Turtle Club For Kids
The
Turtle Club is Sofitel Fiji Resort & Spa’s fantastic
children centre offering a combination of local pastimes, outdoor
and indoor activities to keep children between 2 and 12 years
of age entertained.
The Club is located on the ground floor of the central resort
building and is open from 9.00am to 9.00pm daily.
The Turtle Club activities programme has been carefully planned
to encourage maximum fun for children while incorporating a touch
of Fijian culture into their holiday experience.
In addition to regular resort-style activities and games, Sofitel
Fiji offers junior guests the chance to ‘play’ like
a local.
Turtle Club activities include:
Meke lessons - the art of traditional Fijian Dancing with
chance to perform at the resort’s beachside stage
Coconut Tree Baskets, hat weaving and clay pot art
Tapa printing – traditional screen printing
Beach soccer and rugby
Shell collecting and beach treasure jewellery workshops
Story telling - tall tales and local legends story book time
Face painting and traditional dress up games – children
have the chance to dress up in grass skirts, shell necklace and
black war or colourful face paints
Musical chairs and Limbo
Sand castle building competitions
Pani – a popular children’s bowling game in Fiji.
