Wedding Checklist
1. Make Accommodation/Airline Reservations ASAP
2. Book Wedding Date ASAP
3. Fijian marriage license requires current passport, birth
certificate and
proof of annulment or divorce. Office hours Monday – Friday, 8am – 1pm,
2pm – 3.30pm
4. Set Wedding Time 8 weeks prior
5. Discuss Venue and Menu for Reception 8 weeks prior
6. Book Hair and Make-Up Appointments 4 weeks prior
7. Organise Flowers and Wedding Cake 4 weeks prior
8. Book private car transfer to registry office to acquire
license
9. Remember to bring your wedding rings
10. Confirm all above with Sofitel Fiji Resort & Spa Weddings 21 days
prior
Other Details • Wedding attire and invitations to
be organised by bridal couple in their
own time.
• Reception menus can be laser printed at the Resort.
Please allow at least
two weeks notice. If place cards are required, please liaise
with your
Wedding Executive.
• Ordering of the flowers/bouquets is required at
least three weeks prior to
your wedding.
• Ordering of the wedding cake is required at
least three weeks prior to
your wedding.
• A visit to the Beauty Salon is recommended
the day prior to
your wedding to meet your beauty therapist and confirm
specific details.
